The 2021 Business Summit is Here

For the second year in a row, The Business Summit is going to be virtual… and AMAZING!

“Culture Without Compromise” is 2021’s theme and it is in partnership with Great Places to Work.

I have personally had an expo booth for several years, including a virtual expo booth in 2020. I always get value from them. It’s a great way to interact with your community and grow your business in Durham Region.

Last year’s summit was a well-received success. The Whitby Chamber stepped up and put on a fantastic event in the most uncertain circumstances. I have been proud of the Whitby Chamber’s ability to adapt for us (paying members) during this pandemic.

Events like this are made possible by great sponsors like MicroAge Peterborough-Whitby. Amy Simpson and her team at MicroAge have been extremely generous and giving to the Whitby Chamber of Commerce and Durham Region as a whole.

The speaker list this year is top notch as per usual. Many speakers are members of the Whitby Chamber and well respected in our community. They will teach us life and business lessons that will be instrumental in our success. I am attending, knowing that I will be leaving more enriched by day’s end.

There will be live breakout sessions. Everything will be pre-recorded to avoid technical issues. The cool thing is all the speakers will be there for live chat and Q & A during their presentation. You can interact with these incredible speakers during the event.
