New year, new committee member

Over the tremendously stressful months of the pandemic it was easy to see just how hard the Whitby Chamber of Commerce (WCC) team, like Chambers all across Ontario, have worked to support its member businesses and organizations.

It has driven home to me that no business, big or small, should feel alone or unassisted.

It’s this deep belief in the value of our local Chamber that has led me to join the membership committee. Helping organizations see how they can benefit from becoming a member and then ensuring that members new and existing are tapping into all that the WCC has to offer is our top priority.

As the Strategic Partnership Officer at Ontario Tech University, I see every day how our community supports our students – truly our community’s future talent. I’m thankful to join this committee and serve the community who serves our students every day.
