Healthy Minds = Healthy Workplace Breakfast Conference presented by Bell Let’s Talk
WHITBY, Ont. – The Whitby Chamber of Commerce is honoured to host the Healthy Minds = Healthy Workplace Breakfast Conference presented by Bell Let’s Talk on Tuesday, October 3 at Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences.
Keynote speaker Christina Fuda, Mental Health First Aid Coordinator at Ontario Shores, will discuss how to identify colleagues living with mental illness and how to create a mentally safe and healthy work environment.
Following the keynote speaker, Linda Weichel, Vice President, Initiatives, CivicAction will present its new program, MindsMatter. For over a decade, CivicAction has played the role of neutral sandbox, bringing together senior executives and rising leaders from all sectors to tackle mental health challenges facing the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area.
The breakfast is sponsored by MHIB Global Inc. MHIB’s mission is to make it easy and affordable for every organization in Canada to implement a mental health program for their employees. MHIB works with Mental Health International and partner organizations to put together a package of mental health programs and tools that make it easy for organizations to use.
