Established in 1928, the Whitby Chamber of Commerce (WCC) united local professionals with the purpose of advocating for their rights, compiling resources and doing business together.
By connecting local businesses, the WCC fosters a thriving business community through connection, learning and leadership.
The WCC facilitates multiple ways to reach out to the business community. Hosting more than 80 events throughout the year, which range from after-hours events, all-day conferences, professional development sessions and political luncheons to our annual Peter Perry & Business Achievement Awards gala. Through these events you have the opportunity to celebrate local business, establish solid relationships, develop business leads, or simply unwind after hours.
Keep your fingers on the pulse of the local business community by reviewing our list of members online, networking through social media, and reading the latest Chamber news in the monthly Chamber Insider e-newsletter.
The WCC also acts on behalf of its members as a dominant voice within the business community, advocating for legislative and policy change. It drives local economic growth and professional development, serving a variety of sectors and company sizes.
