Whitby Chamber of Commerce changes up annual golf tournament
Whitby, Ont. – The Whitby Chamber of Commerce (WCC) is thrilled to welcome its membership and community to enjoy a day on the picturesque greens of Royal Ashburn Golf Club for its 31st annual Golf Tournament on Tuesday, June 5, presented by Tournament Sponsor, 360insights.
This year, the day will begin with breakfast sponsored by North American Steel, followed by a warm up led by Pursuit Training and the Rotary Club of Whitby Sunrise’s very own Riblet the pig.
Throughout the day, golfers will enjoy a wide range of on-course activities organized by local businesses, including a putting contest sponsored by Goacher Wealth Management – RBC Dominion Securities and the opportunity to win big at one of the three hole-in-ones. Also on the course this year is special guest, Todd Keirstead, who will be entertaining golfers at the Golf With Attitude hole, generously sponsored by new initiatives hr consulting inc.
As golfers finish the course, they will gather in the clubhouse for cocktail hour before enjoying a three-course plated dinner, thanks to PGL Environmental Consultants, which will be emceed by CKDO’s Terry Johnston.
New this year is the Learn-to-Play portion of the tournament, sponsored by Vickery Electric. This event will allow golfers who haven’t quite perfected their game to enjoy breakfast with the golfers before they head out for a two-hour golf lesson lead by Royal Ashburn staff.
