WCC member helps launch Small Business Access
On February 12, Minister Leal joined Rocco Rossi, President and CEO of the Ontario Chamber of Commerce (OCC) and Whitby Chamber of Commerce’s (WCC) very own, Kim Copetti, Copetti & Co. Professional Organization, to announce the launch of Small Business Access, the new one-window service to help small business owners start, grow and support their business.
Copetti, WCC member and past Board of Directors President, was chosen by the OCC to speak at the event representing small businesses across the province. Currently sitting on the WCC’s Advocacy Committee, and with a business in the heart of downtown Whitby, Copetti was proud to speak on behalf of fellow members and business owners.
“The Small Business Access website is clean, clear and concise,” said Copetti. “This will be a gamechanger for small business in Ontario,”
Bringing together a range of government services and resources under one central platform, Small Business Access is available both online at ontario.ca/smallbusiness and over the phone at 1-888-999-5970. The platform will provide small business owners with links to resources such as Ontario’s new Employing Young Talent Incentive, how to find information on permits and licenses through BizPal, or even information about how to take a business global.
Furthermore, the government is partnering with the OCC to deliver workshops across the province so small businesses have access to in-person support, information and advice to successfully run their business.
